Dr. Huson Gilberstadt, M.D., CPE, FACEP St. Vincent’s Healthcare
Huson Gilberstadt, M.D. is the Chief Clinical Officer and President of St. Vincent’s Medical Center Riverside. In this position, Dr. Gilberstadt serves alongside the Chief Operating Officer of Clinically Integrated Systems of Care. Together, this dyad oversees the development of regional clinically integrated systems of care and is also be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the entire health system.
Previously, Dr. Gilberstadt served as the Chief Medical Officer of our Acute Care division. Before that, he was a physician advisor at our three hospitals and also worked for Emergency Medical Specialists of Jacksonville.
Dr. Gilberstadt grew up in Jacksonville and was born at St. Vincent’s, as were his father and his three sons. He graduated from Ed White High School and then attended the University of Georgia. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. He is board certified in emergency medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Medicine.
In his spare time, Dr. Gilberstadt enjoys alligator trapping, hunting, fishing, and diving. He is a PADI master diver. He has been married to his wife Lisa for four years. Together they have six sons.
